This was my first experience with an oral irrigator & wow, is it a messy learning curve. It took me about a week trying twice a day to finally get mostly comfortable with it. Plus, I’m not a ticklish person but I found the spray insanely ticklish!! The nice features are the water temperature & pressure control you get from connecting it to your faucet, and it’s pretty quiet. The only serious drawback that I’d be concerned about, is that all the studies I’ve read & clinical periodontal books recommend pulsating action irrigators because they improve the tissue health the most. An irrigator’s benefit is not from removing plaque, I can feel plaque still on my teeth afterwards no matter how high I crank the pressure, but rather from the massage/flushing action. Will I still use it? Yes, but I’d also be open to trying other models. Carranza’s Clinical Periodontology

Although this is a rather ingenious and well constructed product, it did not work for me. I am much more satisfied with my Water Pik

      1. I couldn’t use it in the sink in my master bathroom, because it takes too long to get warm water through the sink (don’t even think of trying it with cool water). I found the large faucet adapter to be much too intrusive to use in the guest bathroom. I purchased a Water Pik because I can walk over to my kitchen sink where the hot water comes out immediately, and fill the reservoir.

      2. Didn’t come with mounting instructions, and I couldn’t figure out how to mount it without the tubing being all over the place.

      3. Prefer the Water Pik because it provides consistent pressure through the graduated dial rather than adjusting the faucet or valve on the unit. The water Pik packs up nice and tidily. This unit would really benefit from a stand where you could wrap the tubing and mount the attachment.

      4. Gave the unit to my daughter, she uses it happily 3X a day.

Good product but I would definately get the shower model instead. Water goes all over the sink while you get the hang of using it.

Been using a Waterpik for a couple of years and it never really worked right…always had to fiddle with the water container to get it to flow at full power. No container with the RediBreeze since it hooks right to the faucet. Once you get the hang of how to use it after a couple of tries, its no brainer easy and it works just fantastic. Here’s the cool part…I hooked it to my bathroom faucet for a couple of days and then realized that if I attached it to my kitchen faucet I could not only use it as an oral irrigator but also use it as a mini pressure washer for cleaning out drinking bottles and whatever else needed a super strong stream of pressurized hot water. I even stuck it down in the garbage disposal (not when it was on!) and swished it around to pressure wash the gunk built up in it. Is there no end to its use?!

    5. R. Robinson says:

Had the Waterpik deluxe and portable. Like many others, my two products eventually failed in about a years time. Which brought me to RediBreeze. I am so happy now. Not only do I have confidence with this product, but I know it will be with me for years to come at much less the expense. I can take it on trips. It has adjustable pressure, and cleans much quicker as well. I am so pleased. I don’t have to fill a reservoir as this is easily attached to any faucet. And the price is so much lower than Waterpik products that never last very long. Thank you for providing a dependable product that will last and provide me with great oral hygiene for plaque removal.
